Aidas Cooper Series
All Copper series cartridges share same construction and electrical properties. Their main difference is body material which is not only esthetical property. As phono cartridge is very sensitive to vibrations, body material plays an important role. Different body dampening properties makes a unique sound.
The Aidas Durawood ( and Durawood Bee) cartridges have a beautiful, multicolor ( or grey , mixed grey) Durawood body. Durawood is DIN 7707 compliant and is said to have similar qualities as Panzerholz - one of the strongest and hardest wood composites in existence. Wood composite ( Green ) is the material consisting of wood dust and a special bonding resin. The material is stone hard with high level of chemical and moisture resistance.
